Spring Seminar Programme 2005
24th February 2005 11.00-11.25 - VIP & CIP lounges
Isobel Czarska, Principal, CZARSKA
Designing lounges is a science of its own with the emphasis on the client´s cultural and commercial requirements. A designer seeks to create a sense of balance and calm through the use of modern technology and appropriate materials, thereby graciously and efficiently servicing passengers´ needs. One aims to create spaces that always look fresh and inviting no matter what time of day the passenger lounge is used. The new challenge facing designers is to create lounges for the business traveller who increasingly uses low-cost carriers. www.passengerterminal-expo.com/thursday.html
6th April 2005 - AIRCRAFT INTERIORS EXPO- HAMBURG GERMANY
CARRYING THE BRAND FROM THE LOUNGE THROUGH TO THE AIRCRAFT
Airlines and Airport Authorities are developing and extending their offers, encouraged by well travelled discerning passengers whose expectations are continuously evolving. Airport Lounges are a sub brand of the Airlines master brand and thus emphasise the client's cultural and commercial requirements. They are a powerful tool to retain the loyalty of fickle and well-informed passengers. Lounges must create a sense of balance and calm, serving passengers quietly and reducing stress levels before boarding the aircraft. They are also initially the first point of contact after check-in.www.aircraftinteriors-expo.com/hamburg/wednesday.html - 19k
